Concept

The film was commissioned by the Forestry and Energy Propagation Material Product Council (EESZT) and supported by the Ministry of Agriculture. It was created by the creative team of Soproni Kommunikációs Központ Kft., SkyFly.

The core idea was to vividly showcase the birth of forests and the pivotal role of sapling gardens, making it engaging for both younger and older audiences. The creators consciously chose a fairy-tale narrative and an animated character (Acorn Elf) to present the technical content in a playful manner through visual storytelling.

Implementation

During production, live-action footage was carefully combined with meticulously crafted animations and graphic elements. The cinematography specifically highlights the details of the sapling garden—from seed sowing to care processes and the growth of young trees. In post-production, coloring, narration, and visual effects enhance the fairy-tale atmosphere while maintaining professional credibility. The musical accompaniment and character animation rhythm are tailored to capture children’s attention, yet remain informative for adults.

Outcome

The result is an easily digestible, visually appealing, and educational short film that serves both as teaching material and a sensitization tool. From a cinematic perspective, it successfully blends documentary-style elements with narrative animation, ensuring the production not only conveys information but also emotionally engages the viewer. The film is visually and dramaturgically coherent, making it effective in supporting environmental education over the long term.
